The Photography of Brian Hirschy: Lights//Camera//Joy. Brian Hirschy possesses passion is unique photos of unique places and people that express a vision for lighting techniques, humanity, and creativity that is found in every culture. I especially enjoy showing the dichotomy of modernization and it’s effects, both good and bad, on those cultures experiencing it for the first time.

Interesting information here thanks. I am in the process of putting together a mobile set up ( Canon 40D man) so its gonna be 580EZ2 and more likely pocket wizards.

I am a little concerned that the 580s may not work at say a 35/30mtr distance with umbrellas..? Havnt tested this theory yet.

I am also looking at the Bee Line range of flash lighting..? I have been using Interfit which I am thinking about moving away from.

Beeline seems to be quite rugged and more suited to portable work

Regards

I have the same problem with batteries for my Elinchrom Skyports. I think it's even the same battery. I've managed to find a watch store nearby that stocks them. I've recently been using the Phottix Atlas which seems reliable and takes AA.
