I haven’t touched this site in well over 12 years. It certainly goes without saying, but I’ll say it anyhow: An awful lot has changed.

If one were to demand a short list, it would look like this:

  • I started, ran, and moved on from a successful marketing agency.
  • I collected two wonderful boys who share my DNA.
  • I shot a lot of photos, and videos, that I shared with almost no one
  • I watched dreams die, peered through deep darkness, experienced intense loss, and by some good mercy found myself returning back to a place that feels very much like myself.

That “Finding my way back” is complicated, sacred, and painful – and immensely gracious and necessary. But what that time and space has born – and why I’m even here, now, writing on this site – is a renewed passion for the creative spaces and outlets that I once lost.

I’m still a photographer. I’m still a videographer and media producer. I’m still a musician. But there was a significant time when I forgot what those things meant to me. And that’s why this website saw a break in action that lasted a whole decade.

Moving forward you’ll see a lot of photos, videos, music; and some poor, yet honest, attempts at writing. I’ve not wrestled with that craft long enough to claim the title. I do believe words matter a great deal, and I’m happy to try my best.

As for my career, I’m doing what I’ve always done but as the head of a small media and strategic consultant team. I happen to still work as a producer, and sometimes DP. I still own a production house and a studio space, which means a lot to me.

I love what I do and I intend to share more of it that work – but the line between work, passion, and creativity is one I’ve not entirely figured out. You’ll see me wander clumsily in those spaces.

For now, I’m honored you’re even here. I can’t wait to share more.

If it’s your first time here, here’s what you’re going to find:

  • From 2005-2012 – during various times, I worked both in Tibet and America as a creative and a photogrpher.
  • During my time overseas, I had the honor of shooting with, and for, major publications.
  • I travelled all over Tibet, Nepal, Central Asia and parts of SE Asia. I led photography workshops in many of those locations I’ve kept all those galleries on this site because I’m proud of the work, and also because it turns out to actually be a big headache to remove them.
  • For the last decade I’ve found it confusing to talk about my work. We’ll explore that together, I’m sure.
